What a wonderful World Book Day we enjoyed this week! The school was filled with a calm, cosy atmosphere as children and staff arrived dressed in their relaxing clothes, ready to curl up with a good book. From fluffy pyjamas to favourite hoodies, everyone embraced the chance to make reading feel extra comforting and fun.
One of the highlights of the day was our very own pop‑up bookshop, set up by our teachers. A special surprise on the day included children receiving Baker Bucks, Patel Pounds, and Richmond Rupees to spend at the pop-up shop! Each child had the chance to choose two books to take home and keep, and the excitement of browsing the shop, comparing stories with friends, and discovering new authors was wonderful to see.
