Letter from Sandwell Local Authority Regarding the Reopening of Schools

We have received a letter today from the Local Authority which we have been asked to share with parents. You will find a copy of the letter by clicking the link below.

We will be informing parents by the end of the week of the arrangements for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 as well as those children already attending school as part of an identified group. We have been contacting parents to get an accurate figure of the number of pupils in those year groups who will be coming back to school. As soon as we have this information we will be able to share our plan for re-opening. Parents have been asked to say yes or no to their child coming back to school on June 1st. If a parent says no to returning then we must ask that they stick to this decision for that first week. This is so we can accurately plan for staffing, room numbers and year groups in school. We will then contact parents during the week 1st of June to ask about the following week.

In order for us to ensure the school building is ready then we will be closed to pupils for half term.
