Dear Parents,

Where has the year gone! As we say goodbye to our Year 6 children, it is always a good time to reflect on the great year that Cape has had. We have been successful with many new awards at our school, celebrating more aspects of our good provision. Friday’s Enterprise Day was a great example – the children got so much out of their mini-businesses and were such good sales people that by the time Parents arrived at the end of the day there was hardly anything left! The children raised a grand total of £425! This is profit – Lord Sugar may have some budding entrepreneurs! FANTASTIC!

I am very proud of all our achievements and it is impossible to list them all here. Here are a few of the highlights:

We wish our Y6 all the best of luck for their new school, we will miss you and hope that you go on to even greater things.   I am looking forward to their leaving show on Thursday night! Of course, we wish our leaving staff all the best too – thank you for your dedication and hard work at our school.

We break up on Friday 19^th July at normal time.

School re-opens to children on Thursday 5^th September for Reception to Year 6.

Our new Nursery children start on Monday 9^th September.
