Next week is online safety week in school. At Cape we don't just think about keeping safe online for one week a year, it is part of our curriculum. However, next week is a chance to focus and remind ourselves about keeping safe online, online behaviour and safe online use.
Did you know, this week a 14 year old boy and his mother were in court charged with online bullying over social media. The boy now has a criminal record and his mother has had to pay all of the victims £100 each. Whatever is said online, stays online. It becomes part of our digital footprint even if it disappears from the screen.
