Following a very busy week in school organising and making things to sell at the Christmas Fayre we have had a hugely successful evening. Each of the houses worked together to design, make and advertise things to sell at the fayre. There were tea lights, calendars, mosaics, mugs, biscuits, sweets and balloons. Not to mention the raffle, bric-a-brac, face painting and refreshments.
A great evening was had by all, thank you once again for your continued support. We will let you know which house raised the most money.
As many of you know we are part of the YES Smethwick group of schools. The group works hard to provide many activities for children and families from the Cape Hill area. Some of the activities are linked to the curriculum and take place in school time but there are also many activities that take place after school or on Saturdays. You are more than welcome to attend sessions if you have a child at our school. The link below takes you to the YES Smethwick website where you can find lots of additional information.
If you take part in any of the activities then please let us know what you have enjoyed. If you have any new ideas that the community could support then just make a note and drop your idea in the parent suggestion box at the reception desk.
Many thanks to everybody who donated to the shoebox appeal this year. Your kind donations have meant that we have been able to send over twenty shoe boxes of toys, games and gifts to children who are not as fortunate as us.
Thank you!
