  • Sport Relief

    Mon 21 Mar 2016

As it was our whole school exhibition on Friday we decided to celebrate Sport Relief a little bit later than everybody else. Today has been our Sport Relief fundraiser. We have combined raising money with the Beat the Street community get fit programme. Today 540 children and staff went on three walks around Smethwick tracking the Beat the Street boxes and collecting points. Everybody walked 2.02 miles or 3.25km. As a school we have walked over 1,272 miles or 2,047km. We have collected nearly 10,000 Beat the Street points too! Check out the leaderboard here:  https://sandwell.beatthestreet.me/UserPortal/Sandwell/Leaderboard

In addition we have helped to raise over £500 for Sport Relief. Thank you everybody!

  • The Exhibition

    Fri 18 Mar 2016
Well done to all of the staff and children for another hugely successful exhibition. We had head teachers and children from local schools and also a school in Shropshire who would like to create links with our school. Everybody was amazed at the fantastic work on display. Parents commented after school saying what lovely work the children had been doing in class. Some of the parents had been in to school to help with the exhibition during our parent workshops. Thank you to everyone for their hard work. You all made me very proud.
  • Another Huge Thank You!

    Tue 08 Mar 2016
This week I received a letter to say thank you for the donations towards the Women's Aid Christmas Appeal. We helped 55 children and 40 women and our support helped to provide a party, visit from Santa and even support for materials for workshops. So a huge thank you for helping our community once again.
