  • New Parent Governor

    Wed 13 Feb 2019
Following the recent resignation of one of our parent governors and the subsequent letter sent to all parents requesting nominations for a new parent governor. I am pleased to announce that Mr Hussain will be joining our governing body to represent the parent voice. He was the only parent to express and interest in the post so will be appointed at our next governing body meeting in March. Mr Hussain met with myself and is clearly passionate about our community and wants to help to make a difference. He will serve for a term of one year.
  • Synagogue Visit for Y5

    Wed 13 Feb 2019

This week our Year 5 children have visited Singers Synagogue in Birmingham as part of their R.E curriculum. I am delighted to report that the staff at the Synagogue who led the workshops for each class said our children were very knowledgable about the Jewish faith. They thought all of our children were very respectful of a religion that may be different from their own and that overall teh children are a credit to our school.

We know this about our children but it makes me so proud when our community tell us too. Thank you Year 5, you are brilliant.

  • Foodbank Thank you!

    Mon 11 Feb 2019
Our friends at the Smethwick Foodbank have once again sent us a thank you card for all of your kind donations to our Spring appeal. The school minibus had to make two trips to the Foodbank with all of your wonderful donations. Once again our school has shown it's kindness and generosity in helping the people of our local community.
