The strange happenings continue - in the KS1 assembly this morning a message had been left from someone called Cupcup. The children were faced with a challenge in assembly to answer questions that helped Cupcup to evolve. The question and story allowed the children to make decisions about respect. I wonder if Cupcup has landed his rocket on our playground to see how the children at Cape are respectful of one another?

Three little girls from Reception have this morning been to Miss Baker to tell her about the visitors from the sky. Two of the girls think that our visitors might be aliens and one little girl thinks it is a colourful, invisible ghost! Please keep your eyes open and see if you can find out any more information.
Lunchtime Update:
A Year 4 pupil believes the 'rocket' belongs to an Alien that cannot be seen. He has visited Reception to find out what they know about the mysterious object!
Over the past two days the children in Key Stage 2 have enjoyed a visit to the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham to see the play George's Marvellous Medicine. For many children it was the first time they had ever been to a theatre and seen a live performance. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day. Look out for the chronicle to find out more about it!
Key Stage 1 will be off to see Beauty and the Beast at the theatre next month.
A strange phenomenon has been spotted on the playground at Cape Primary School. As the children left school at 3:30pm this strange object could be found in the entrance area. It was so large that it obstructed the children leaving at the end of the day. By nightfall the object had moved. It is now located in the infant playground. A local source suggested strange sounds could be heard at around 5:30pm. An investigation must now begin into where the object has come from, how it arrived and who it belongs to. If you have any information that can help in our enquiries please write your suggestions and address them to Miss Baker.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day in the 11th month we remember soldiers that have given their lives for our country. The children at Cape took a moment to reflect and think about the brave. Thank you to everybody who bought a poppy or a wristband or just made a donation. Your contributions help the Royal British Legion and soldiers today.
