  Cat Weatherill, author of a range of children's books has today been into school to share her knowledge and story telling skills. She is looking for ideas of adventures for her next book... • GB Athlete Dominick Cunningham in School

  As part of our raising awareness of sports and fitness, Dominick Cunningham, British Gymnast, is in school today demonstrating his skills and helping to inspire the children to take up a sport. Thanks Dominick for your visit - don't forget to return sponsor money by next Friday!

  

• Multi Agency Safeguarding Day

  Yesterday, Year 6 participated in a Multi Agency Safeguarding day with local community partners including the police. The day was once again a huge success with the children participating in a range of workshops that help them to keep themselves safe and prepare them for the next stage of their lives.

• Feedback from Edgmond Hall

  We have received a lovely letter from Edgmond Hall thanking us for the wonderful children and staff we sent on the recent residential visit. The letter stated that the children were a credit to the school and they are looking forward to our visit again next year.

• Gold for Cape!

  Today we received our certificate stating we are an Artsmark Gold school. This is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved with the school. Well done!
