• School Reopens Monday

  School will reopen on Monday. We are sorry for any inconvenience. The engineers have isolated the problem so we do have heating in school. Thank you for your patience on Friday and we'll see you back in school on Monday 29/02/16.

• School Closure

  We are very sorry, due to an unforeseen problem with our boiler system we need to close school for children on Friday 26th February 2016. School will reopen on Monday 29th February 2016. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

• Children in Need Champions

  Many thanks for your continued support and generosity. We had a certificate this morning from Children in Need to say thank you for the £828.43 donation. Your kindness means that vulnerable children across the UK can be supported. Thank you!

• Safer Internet Day

  Today is Safer Internet Day. This week the Cape Chronicle is about keeping safe online. We have attached a fact sheet for parents to the Chronicle which contains lots of information to help you keep yourself and your children safe online.

   A copy of the fact sheet can also be found on the school website in the Safeguarding section. On the home page click the orange button for parents then click the safeguarding tab.

• Learning Together Day

  Next Friday (12/02/16) we are holding our Learning Together Day. School is closed for this day, however, all parents will be allocated a time to come and meet the teacher with their child. During the meeting you will have the opportunity to discuss your child's progress and next steps for the rest of the academic year. Please take the time to complete the pupil survey and parent survey whilst meeting the teacher.

• Wonderful Workshops 3

  Today there were 2 workshops held in school.

  A circus skills workshop for Year 1 that helped the children to develop balance, control, confidence and hand-eye  coordination. Great fun was had by all!

  Year 3 explored rainforest animals with a visit from Animal Antics! This workshop was a follow up to their educational visit to the Living Rainforest last week. Today the children were given the chance to hold or touch some animals who's natural habitat is the rainforest.
