Thank you to all of our parents and families who attended Learning Together Day today. It was lovely to see so many parents and families in school. During the day we asked families to complete our parent and pupil survey. The results were overwhelmingly positive, thank you!
Copies of both surveys can be found here:
With the half term holidays fast approaching now is the time to book all of those non-urgent medical appointments. There are an increasing number of families taking children out of school during the day for non-urgent appointments. Already this term 74 children have been taken out of school during the day for medical appointments. Even if it is just for half an hour that is still 30 minutes of lost learning time. We appreciate appointments can be difficult to make, however, Dentists, Opticians and Doctors all have appointments in school holidays and after school.
Your help with this would be very much appreciated.
The children all enjoyed the campfire last night and were in bed and fast asleep for 10.15pm!
The children have got up this morning and are packed and ready for a morning of orienteering. They'll be home later today, although Miss Cureton said so many of them want to stay!!!
Mr Southwell has sent the following text about the day...
Another fab day - archery, fencing and fire/shelter building. All of the children are eating well, just off to collect fire wood for the camp fire!
They still have huge amounts of energy and big beaming smiles!
Good morning!
The children at Edgmond had a great day yesterday. Mr Southwell reported that they all ate plenty of food and best of all they had a great night sleep. Ready for action on day 2 of their adventure!
